Methodology
Last reviewed June 2026. Anyone buying a B2B contact list deserves to see the math behind the rows.
Where the data comes from
Every record in the BarSourced catalog starts in the official state bar directory of record: The State Bar of California, The Florida Bar, the State Bar of Georgia, and the State Bar of Texas. We pull from the bar's own attorney-lookup endpoint, not from third-party aggregators, scrapers, or resold list brokers.
How email addresses are verified
Each published email address is SMTP-checked at the time of collection. Hard bounces, role-only inboxes (info@, admin@, contact@), and catch-all domains are flagged and excluded from the deliverable rows. We do not pad records with guessed addresses - empty fields stay empty.
How often the catalog refreshes
The full catalog is rebuilt weekly. Each refresh re-pulls active members from each bar, re-verifies addresses, and dedupes against the prior week's snapshot. The last-refresh timestamp travels with every row you download.
What we don't do
We do not invent statistics, fabricate author bios, or attach fake review schemas to our pages. We do not sell columns the source bar did not publish. We do not resell purchased lists. And we do not promise inbox placement - that is your sending domain's job, not ours.
How the price works
Pricing is per lead with volume tiers. The final price for your exact filter set is shown before checkout - no subscriptions, no order minimums, no surprise renewal billing.
What you should do with the data
Use it for compliant B2B outreach: identify yourself, avoid deceptive subject lines, include a working physical address, and honor opt-outs promptly. Our CAN-SPAM guide covers the legal floor and the practical sender checklist.
