Bar-sourced means exactly that.

Every record in our catalog originates from an official state bar directory, the registries where attorneys must maintain their license records. We do not buy lists, scrape social networks, or guess emails.

Refresh cadence
We re-crawl source directories on a rolling basis and sync continuously. The homepage total is read live from the database. If it moves, that is the crawler working.
What verified means
Emails and phones are captured directly from the attorney's own bar-directory listing at collection time, not pattern-guessed. Where we derive a firm website from an email domain, we fetch the site and classify the firm's practice areas from its actual content.
More detail on fields and fill rates lives in the data dictionary. For a live count by state and practice area, see the coverage matrix.
