Half the attorneys I needed weren't in the database.

Why I stopped renting lead lists and started pulling bar rosters instead.

The problem

I ran outbound to law firms for years. Everyone talks about bounces and bad data, but my real problem was simpler: coverage. The big databases had some attorneys, whoever their crawlers happened to find. Entire firms I needed just weren't in there. And when I needed something specific, immigration attorneys in Florida with verified emails, that list didn't exist anywhere, at any price.

The realization

Meanwhile, every state bar association publishes an official directory of every licensed attorney in the state. Complete by definition: you can't practice law without being in it. Public, accurate, maintained by the bar itself. Nobody had turned it into lists you could actually buy.

What BarSourced is

So I built it. We capture the official bar directories of California, Florida, Georgia and Texas, verify emails and phones on collection, refresh weekly, and segment everything into 15 practice areas. You filter, you see the price, you download Excel + CSV, and the file is yours. Every purchase pulls a fresh cut of the catalog; no two buyers download the same list.

What it isn't

  • Not a crawler's sample of the market.
  • Not a broker file resold to a hundred buyers.
  • Not a subscription you rent forever.
